At Merlons, Bulgarian brand MMotors bathroom extractor fans help remove humid air and odours after a shower. A backdraft valve limits air flowing back through the fan when it is switched off, reducing odours entering from the ventilation duct.
The range includes models rated at 105 m³/h and higher-capacity fans that can extract up to 169 m³ of air per hour. Greater airflow is useful when plenty of steam builds up in the bathroom; results also depend on the ventilation duct and incoming air.
For low energy consumption and low-noise operation, you can choose the model with a UE motor. It consumes 5.5 watts while extracting up to 100 m³ of air per hour — less than half the electricity used by a 13-watt model.
Tile-insert models let you fit the same tile used in your bathroom into the front panel, making the fan less noticeable on the wall. For limited installation depth, the range also includes a Short spigot model with a short connecting duct.
In the 105 and 169 m³/h models, a protective motor treatment reduces the effects of dust and humidity, while shielded Japanese NSK bearings support long service life. The manufacturer specifies a working life of 30,000 hours for these models, which can be installed on either a wall or a ceiling.
Plan bathroom ventilation properly to remove humid air after showering. See extractor-fan prices in the Merlons catalogue; in Tbilisi and Batumi, we will help with the choice, while a specialist should confirm the required capacity and duct size in advance.
