Spot lighting

At Merlons, you can choose Greek brand Viokef spotlights, including selected recessed ceiling models. Selected Viokef spotlights concentrate light on a small area to highlight a picture, decorative feature or work surface. Mark the areas to illuminate before planning spot lighting.

Plan kitchen spotlights along the worktop so light reaches the food-preparation area. For hallway spotlights, consider the length of the passage and any wall features you want to highlight. Check the light direction of each model as well as its placement: a focused accent and general room illumination serve different purposes.

A selected Viokef spotlight renders colours naturally, helping the tones of furniture, fabrics and decorations show more clearly. This is especially useful where lighting needs to represent interior colours accurately. Selected Viokef spotlights let you choose white-light tones from warm to neutral to suit the room’s purpose.

Selected Viokef lights intended for damp environments are protected against water splashes (IP44). The dust-tight housing of a selected Viokef light is also protected against water jets (IP65), an added benefit in dusty and damp environments. The installation location must suit the protection level of the particular light.

Mark the areas to illuminate first.

Give a picture on the wall, a worktop or a passage its own light. See spotlight prices in the Merlons catalogue; in Tbilisi and Batumi, we will help choose the required number and installation type.
