The odour-blocking valve opens as water drains and closes afterwards to limit smells rising from the waste pipe. It continues to work if water left in the trap dries out, making it especially useful in bathrooms used infrequently.

The hair filter and valve are removable, making accumulated hair and debris easy to clear.

You can insert the same tile used on the floor into the cover, helping the drain match the finish and making it less noticeable.

The cover is made from corrosion-resistant grade 304 stainless steel. The lower body is plastic.

Waterproofing tapes are included and, when correctly installed, help protect the joints around the drain from water ingress.
