Large-format tiles

At Merlons, you can choose large-format porcelain stoneware from Infinity, ASCALE and Cotto d’Este. Fewer joints give stone patterns a more continuous appearance. The collection includes tiles for floors, walls and exterior façades, as well as models intended for furniture and kitchen worktops.

The material absorbs almost no water or odours and withstands abrupt changes. Tiles intended for outdoor use resist frost and UV rays, retaining their colour in sunlight. Models selected for worktops are also suitable for direct food contact; resistance to stains and everyday wear is particularly useful with frequent use.

Selected Infinity and ASCALE designs allow Bookmatch compositions: the mirrored patterns of two matching slabs come together. In Infinity’s Endmatch models, the pattern continues from one slab to the next, while NaturaBody-Tech brings a stone-like texture to the finished edge as well. Holos gives you a mosaic effect without installing small pieces individually.

A fibreglass mesh reinforces Cotto d’Este’s thin Kerlite slabs. Installing them over a sound, level existing covering can reduce demolition work. Compatibility with underfloor heating helps transfer warmth into the room.

Cotto d’Este surfaces with PROTECT technology incorporate silver ions. According to the manufacturer, these reduce bacteria by up to 99.9% and work without sunlight. GREENGUARD Gold certification for Infinity and Kerlite confirms low chemical emissions into indoor air.

For façades, furniture or worktops, the model is selected according to its intended application and the support it needs. This lets you combine the stone appearance you want with durability suited to the specific use.
