The shower head is one of the most important accessories for daily use, which can become damaged and lose effectiveness over time if you don’t follow proper care instructions. Special attention needs to be paid to protecting it from mineral deposits (limestone) and dirt, as this is the most common cause of its damage.

Merlons brand shower heads are designed for easy maintenance — they feature small rubber nozzles that can be cleaned with a light hand movement. This easily removes accumulated impurities that, over time, can block the free flow of water.

If the heads are not completely clean, they can be carefully cleaned with a needle. It is also recommended to regularly clean the shower head even if the shower is not used for several days or more, as sediment in the water can dry out and stick more firmly to the surface.

Additional care tips:

  • Regular cleaning: A light cleaning once a week will help ensure long-term use of the head.
  • Against limescale: If the water in your area is hard, you can periodically soak the shower head in vinegar dissolved in warm water (for 10–15 minutes) to remove limescale deposits.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals: Strong cleaning solutions and rough sponges may damage the surface.
  • Correct use: After each use, it is advisable to run the water for a short time to wash away any sediment remaining inside.

Shower head maintaining is a simple process that not only helps maintain water flow but also extends its lifespan.
