At Merlons, you can choose small-, medium- and large-format tiles, from textured wall decorations to porcelain floor tiles and large slabs intended for kitchen worktops. Spanish brand Dune, Arezzo, Spanish brand TAU Cerámica, Italian brand Infinity, Spanish brand ASCALE and Italian brand Cotto d’Este offer different possibilities: the look of handmade ceramics, stone patterns, mosaics or broad, continuous-looking surfaces.
The relief and tonal variation of selected Dune wall tiles create the impression of handmade ceramics. A selected Dune mosaic tile also suits curved surfaces, allowing you to clad rounded islands or bars. The range includes Turkish brand Betsan glass mosaics for pools, while models suitable for both floors and walls let you coordinate the two surfaces.
Large-format slabs from Infinity, ASCALE and Cotto d’Este give stone patterns a more continuous appearance with fewer joints. Suitable slabs can be used for floors, walls, exterior façades, furniture and worktops. In Bookmatch designs, the mirrored patterns of two slabs form one composition; with Infinity Endmatch, the pattern continues from one slab to the next.
Selected porcelain stoneware tiles absorb almost no water and withstand everyday wear. The material of the large slabs withstands abrupt changes; outdoor slabs also resist frost and UV rays. The worktop range includes slabs suitable for direct contact with food.
Cotto d’Este’s thin Kerlite can also be installed over a sound, level existing covering, helping reduce demolition. According to the manufacturer, silver ions integrated into tiles with PROTECT technology reduce surface bacteria by up to 99.9%. GREENGUARD Gold certification for Infinity and Kerlite confirms low chemical emissions into indoor air.
