Wall lights

At Merlons, you can choose wall lights for reading, highlighting decorative features and illuminating entrances. The range includes sconces from Greek brand Viokef, Polish brand Emibig and Juncan, with options for adjustable lighting and outdoor use.

Choosing bedroom wall sconces for reading in bed? First consider where you will hold the book and how you will reach the switch. Match hallway wall lights to both the wall décor and the passage width, keeping the fitting clear of the walkway. The room’s purpose helps you decide between directed reading light and supporting illumination.

A selected Viokef reading wall light directs light towards your book for convenient reading beside a bed or armchair. Selected Viokef wall lights let you adjust brightness by touch, while a version with a movable head also lets you aim the light where you need it.

Selected Viokef wall lights offer brightness adjustment with a compatible control device. Another selected Viokef wall light lets you choose warm, neutral or cool white light without replacing the bulb. Selected Viokef wall lights render colours naturally, helping furniture and decorative tones show more clearly.

Selected Viokef wall lights concentrate light on a small area to highlight a surface or decorative feature. The motion sensor on a selected Viokef outdoor wall light switches the light on automatically when movement is detected, so you do not need to look for a switch at the entrance.

For damp and outdoor spaces, selected Viokef wall lights offer different protection levels: some wall lights are protected against water splashes (IP44), another wall light against splashes and harmful dust ingress (IP54), and several other selected wall lights have dust-tight housings that also withstand water jets (IP65). The installation location must suit the protection level of the particular wall light.

Reading by the bed or a welcoming light in the corridor — wall sconces add separate lighting where it is needed. See wall-light prices in the Merlons catalogue; in Tbilisi and Batumi, we will help coordinate them with other room lighting.
