Who processes the data

Merlons (merlons.ge) operates the website, product catalog, cart request flow, chat, contact channels, and showrooms. In this policy, Merlons means the website and showroom team that decides why and how customer data is processed.

Information we collect

• When you browse the site, technical data is processed, such as page URL, basic browser and device information, language, referrer, session details, and security logs.
• When you send a request from the cart, a product page, chat, or a call/order form, we may collect your phone or WhatsApp number, message, selected products, quantities, prices, request source, page URL, and submission time.
• When you use chat, we process your message, selected quick replies, contact channel, and the page where the conversation started.
• Essential browser storage may be used for cart items, language, chat, and cookie choices. These records are needed for core site functions.
• After optional cookie consent, Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, and attribution data may be processed, including UTM or click ID parameters, referrer, page path, product interest, and general browser signals.
• In the Merlons admin area, which is not for public visitors, authorization, session, lead, and order-management records may be processed.

Purposes and legal grounds

We use data to show the catalog, keep cart items, answer quote and order requests, contact customers, support chat, confirm delivery or installation details, protect site security, and improve Merlons services.

When you send a request, processing is usually needed to review your request, communicate before a contract, or perform agreed services. Some data may also be processed to meet legal obligations, keep records, defend legal claims, or protect Merlons legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Optional analytics, Meta tracking, and direct marketing communications are used only with the relevant consent or another lawful ground allowed by Georgian law. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before the withdrawal.

Who may receive information

Relevant Merlons team members, website, hosting, CDN, security, lead/chat infrastructure, and technical-support providers, professional advisers, couriers, installation teams, and payment or installment partners may receive data where needed for a specific request.

Meta browser or server events are sent only after you accept optional cookies. Some providers may operate outside Georgia, so data is handled with appropriate technical, contractual, and organizational safeguards.

Data may also be disclosed to public authorities, courts, or other authorized persons where Georgian law requires it or where disclosure is needed to protect legal claims.

Retention and security

Optional Meta and attribution cookies or events do not run until you accept them. If you reject them, product browsing, cart, chat, and request submission remain available.

Children

The website is intended for adults and businesses interested in furniture and interior products. Merlons does not knowingly collect children’s data. If a parent or legal representative believes that a minor’s data was sent to us, contact us and we will review the matter within a reasonable time.
